01

Name the purpose, not just the brand

Use labels such as “browser permissions guide” or “reading list explanation” instead of keeping several identical titles. A useful name tells you what you expect to find. Organize related pages in a folder if your browser supports it, without adding more categories than you need.

02

Review destinations from time to time

When you revisit a bookmark, check the current address and page purpose. Content may have moved, a hostname may no longer serve the same publication, or the page may now redirect. An old bookmark does not override signs that something has changed.

03

Remove uncertainty from the collection

Delete duplicate shortcuts and remove links you no longer recognize after reviewing them. If a useful article has a new location, verify the replacement before updating the bookmark. Browser synchronization can copy changes between devices, so understand which account holds your saved collection.

MERITKING GİRİŞ / A quick checklist
